Far be it from me to criticize Jon and Kate Plus 8....?

I have trouble accepting the whole "Well, she has 8 kids" thing. She did not have those kids naturally nor did she adopt them. They had fertility treatments done, so basically she has bought and paid for the life she leads. Therefore, taking her stress out on Jon and the kids is totally uncalled for. She treats him like another child and on the few occasions where he stood up for himself I wanted to shake his hand. But at the same time, he knew what her personality was like prior to having the children so he should have known what would happen! The tuplets are cute and relatively well behaved but the one twin (Mady) is spoiled and bratty and is badly in need of serious discipline and her parents just shrug it off as she's 'spirited'. Spirited my behind. She pitched a fit on one episode because she was given a chore to do and she kept whining and crying about it not being fair. I don't care how many kids are in the house, how on earth is that behavior tolerated? how is that good parenting? it takes more than ikea style organization and a big bank account to be good parents, clearly.
