My DVD drive is not recgnised aftr uninstling nero 7?

recently i got nero 8 cd and i tried to uninstal nero7 in my sys but whn the sys restartd after uninstl my DVD drive is not recognised by my sys. (ofcoarse i cud get it back after sys restor) plz help me to instal nero 8
