What dyes would I need to see cells?

I'm buying a microscope and slides, and now all I can think that I need is the dyes to see the cells. If I remember correctly, I need an iodine solution to see plant cells, but animal cells would need different solutions. I know I can't just get one solution, but was wondering if anyone could tell me what dyes I would need to see which types of cell. If anyone knows a good place to buy a kit of these, then that would also be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
