How do I not get into trouble with the guidance counselor at school?

So I was taking a test and had to leave the room to go sharpen my pencil. The guidance counselors room was closest so I was going to use hers. She normally has candy out for us but she did not so I opened her drawer to see if she had any in there. As I was closing it she walked and got mad at me for "stealing." and going into her stuff. Was I stealing? and now I have to have a 20 minute meeting with her about it. How do I get out of trouble with her?
