Are we blinded by attraction?

i definitely agree with you. it might be attraction.. people are generally more, eh, alright (for lack of a better word) with negativity towards their own gender or someone of the opposite gender that isnt extremely good looking. i personally am guilty of ignoring the bad qualities in a guy because i was attracted to him.. and it took a while before i saw that the good was stronger than the bad. however, (because i feel that i should at least give SOME people the benefit of the doubt) i would like to believe that some people would like to think that these bad things that they can't see are simply because they are a front: that the people really are good deep down. but because this happens usually with opposite genders, i think it is more likely that attraction (to attractive people) makes us want to believe that they are better people than they might actually be.
