Does this mean anything or is she just being friendly? What should I say to her when I p by her?

there's this girl I talked to in the starting of the semester but it wasn't much. She had seen me and said "hey don't you live across from me?". I said "yes". She and some other girls were giving out stuff for their organization or what not. It seems kinda stupid to ask me that bec. she sees me at least 3 times a week in the dorm. I started saying "hi" after she said "don't you live across from me?". I said it at least 2 times when I ped by her and now when I was about to p by her she looked down so I looked down and didnt say anything.
