Why all these bombing and terror attacks happening now .and why did not happened under saddam rule?

Saddham was a sunni dictator known for his gruesome acts towards Shia people. There has always been conflicts between sunni and shia regardless of the leader...but when U.S stepped in and overthrew saddhams government...the sunnis became very angry...but the shia were quite satisfied...and since then they have had conflicts.
