Why are the fig's on my fig tree falling off?

I live in N.S.W Australia and have one fig tree i have had it for about 2 years and brought it when it was around 1 meter tall now it is 1.7 meters. now to the question ok my figs on the tree have been turning abit yellow and falling off it's a brown turkey fig tree. I give it a fare amount of fertilizer and water. can and tell me why they are falling off.
