How to take this stuff off my headlights?

Some dumb **** at a auto store sold me wheel clear coat to use on my headlights saying that it would take the hazing out. ha what a joke! I used it and it put a layer of clear coat on my headlights and looks 100 times worse than before! I have scrubbed the crap out of it and only gotten a little off. any suggestions? thanks
