What military movie was this?

I can't remember anything from this movie at all except for one scene. Unfortuantely it was a scene, and I saw it when I was very young and to this day it bugs me that I can't at the least remember what it's called. I think the film revolved around some soldiers in basic training, and they were on a set-up training mission to get through some territory. They encounter some sort of gang (who I can only recall as something like big bikers), and they are held captive.
